Synopsis:
There is a mysterious arena. Its location: Unknown, Its owner's: Unknown, Its form: Constantly Changing.
Every once in a while, some unknown entity pulls a soul from other planes of existance and brings it here to fight. The soul's form is manifestation of its owner's ideals and and desires. The more "complete" some one is in their life, the more their soul resembles themselves. Once in the arena, the soul is granted physical(esque) form and is instilled with a unrepressible urge to defeat all others in the arena.
Each soul has kenpaku, a weapon of some sort that is, in fact, an extension of the soul, and the weapon's shape an abilities depend on its owner.
Basically, This rp is intended to be just pvp with no plot consequences whatsoever, unless we get enough people to want to. Just endless combat against with characters of you're liking. Basically, I need practice rping, others need practice rping, some have nothing to do waiting for someelse to respond in an rp, and here's where you can practice/post something cool.
Character creation:
Each Character has kenpaku. Each kenpaku gets an ability that falls under one of the following categories. Categories are ranked from weakest short term effects, to most powerful short term effects, plus transformation.
Passive: This abilty is always present, regaurdless if he attacks, or is standing still.
Active Passive: This ability is passive, but only for set amounts of time, and when the user wants it too.
Flexibly Active: This is some sort of special technique that can be applied in multiple situations.
Singularly Active: A single high power attack or technique of some sort that can only be used one way.
Transformation: This ability is similar to active passive. In order for it to be transformation it must grant the user a physical form that is different from its original form, and the new form must give the user new traits such as claws, or additional arms. If an ability merely changes the user's appearance, but it is still active passive.
Characters can have any skills or spells they want, provided they aren't god modding. please use the antitactic spell system for all spells that aren't from final fantasy.
