I want to know what you guys think. Should I enable user shops? I don't plan on having user shops re-stock, so I think it's up to you.

Yes, I think it's a good idea. However. I don't think just anybody should have a shop. I noticed on FFHaven that there were some people who opened shops, then never really posted much else. Also, when the old shop mod was on here, there were a couple shops made by people who hadn't posted since they joined.

Maybe a post count requirement or something.

Or maybe use the pruning feature (phpBB feature that my board has. Does this one, Sky?)

One problem with no restocking the user shops. Nobody will buy from them unless the prices are cheaper than the ones in the default shop. And if they are, you'll never make money. =P

I think that they're a good idea. I also agree with Poyo that not everybody should be able to create a shop unless they're going to take care of it.

OF COURSE ITS A GOOD IDEA I LOVED MY SHOP IN FF HAVEN AND I LOVE IT HERE TO if it existed BUT THATS NOT THE POINT!

No. There's no point in the normal shop as Spek pointed out, and it's just a cheap way to get money. I don't like the idea. =/

Wow, really old thread. I could easily make a mod for the shop, but I think having auctions would be much more fun...
