As I've been resizing these portraits for Sky, I've found a lot that may not fit into classes, but could most certainly represent race. Including things like dark elf, demon, etc. So maybe for the next stats mod upgrade (or even just a slight update on the current one), you could add pictures with race.

Great idea i was going to suggest this while making my More jobs thread
But then wont he have to make different images for different races
example Dark Elf Swordsman
So wont that mean he needs a multitude of images?

I think he means having two images- the class image and then the race image.
Sounds neat, but it might be overkill. I'll probably decide once I get the images. =)

Speaking of which, get on MSN. I've got 160 (yes, 160) images for ya.  Not sure if I'll do a file transfer, though, since the folder is pretty huge. I may just email it to you. But I'll discuss it on MSN with you.

Yes Overkill perhaps you will have to make the scan a charcter window bigger to fit in the extra image it think

If you did decide to do this, you could make a class-by-race thing, so only certain classes can be certain races. Then you could use one picture (think FFTA)

Yes, you are correct. My mistake. 
But, I don't like the race/class combination. First of all, I like the FFT images better than FFTA, secondly, it'd take a hell of a lot more work (putting previous efforts to waste) to make this miniscule feature, and lastly, I believe (but could be wrong) that there are more classes for FFT than there are for FFTA. Considering many were already made up, it'd be nigh impossible to make new ones to compensate for the new classes (like Sharpshooter, Assassin, etc).

I could make them if I had base images for all the races and a few class images. But you'll all have to wait a few weeks until Windows dies on my computer. Rhi's backup killed my computer (slowly), so I have to wait for it to go away before I can reinstall (I said this before somewhere...)

I'd hate for you to go through all the work and not have it used, though. I still think it would be overkill to have race images, and it would require yet another recode of the Stats MOD, which would only push us further back. Granted, this could be done in the future, but I'd like to focus on getting the dueling area back up first.
