Should I make it so new members must have admin approval? That's essentially what my last attempt was, but it allowed members to introduce themselves so admins didn't have to go by profile information. So, BEFORE YOU VOTE:
Pros:
-If the site dies, it dies. It doesn't become a bot-infested cemetery.
-Bots will only be allowed in by accident
Cons:
-Sky and I (mostly myself) will have to do more work to inspect the profiles.
-It may discourage posting in the rare event that we get new members.
