Plot: In the world of Kerath, the nations on the continent of Dimtir have coexsisted for generations, sometimes at peace, sometimes at war. Power is determined by wealth, and strength of arms, which constantly changes, as alliances are forged, broken, and war engaged.
In recent times, the nation of Rasenberg, led by Lord Brand Jesson, has begun an aggressive campaign of conquest. He has already conquered one of the most wealthy nations in the land, Sylaer, and has amassed the greatest amounts of wealth ever conceived. Now, he builds an army, ready to move against the remaining free nations. Lord Lucius Maleus, of the nation of Amnon, has put out a call to all warriors, mercenaries, and adventurers to partake in a quest to stop Lord Jesson’s advance before everything is engulfed in war.
