Maybe have RP guilds sometime? Mind you, it would be a lot like Guild Wars, but it would be like FFHaven's Clans, too. Make things nice and easy ;D

(There is a group feature, but it only has SMods right now...)

There are acutally 3 groups right now, all are hidden and are used for me to grant privelages to people. =P

Go ahead and pile your suggestions in here, as I'm very interested in starting up the groups.

Yes, I am fairly sure you can be a member of more than one group, seeing as I'm group moderator for all of the current groups. >_<

Well that's different. I know that's possible (or people couldn't have more than one group early on...)

Anyway, I suggest Clans like we had on FFHaven, but slightly different, you know...I think...Try making them a little ore known and used...um...

I suggest we first get (more) people to join. Razz Then worry about clans. Razz

I'm kind of conflicted. While I agree that would should ahve more people for something like clans, I also think that if we put this feature to good use, then that could get us more members. It's a vicious cycle.

I don't think clans really fit with the rping of this place, unless we had a place for clans to do clan vs. clan stuff. Otherwise, clans would be pointless.

We could seperate people into groups of interest, like a coding group, or an rp group.

I think it would be great to have a "PvP" type board. Then clans could be made to form groups for team pvp type stuff. And the pvp wouldn't even have to be two clans fighting, it could be that they are both sent on the same quest, and are in competition to see who comes out on top. That would incorperate roleplaying the best, I think.

I agree with you completely. Even Clan vs. Clan battles would be difficult because some RPs only have physical skills and no magick/ether. Obviously the one's that did would win. But they could have RP "battles." The team that RPs the best would be the winner...or have a point system...

I think the point system would be pretty cool if it didn't get too complex.

I really like that idea. It would be a small, short RP quest- a group vs. another group, a battle of RP skills. The only question would be how to judge it. I would want a solid "grading" system, so that you could easily tell if a judge is biased.

My idea for grading:

If the mission is fantasy based and there are reality people (people without magick/ether and very few physical skills) playing, they get an extra point.

(I'll finish later. I'm sick, so I have a bed-time ;D)

You guys don't RP battle often do you? =P

In RP clan wars or tournament RPs everyone is placed on equal footing. Meaning either both sides agree to allow magic, or both sides agree to fight without it. There is no "one side does, one side doesn't" unless the other team chooses to fight with a handicap.

Here's a simple little point system I quickly put together:

20 points for originality
20 points for character interaction(actually very important)
20 points for consistency of rp
10 points for completion of quest
10 points for readability(i.e. grammar)

Each group can earn up to the maximum points in each category. Whoever has the most points wins!!

(It came to me while watching Iron Chef...)
