This game was not designed or created by me; it was briefly described by Peter Suber in June, 1982, and later published in the book The Paradox of Self-Amendment). It is only an RP because I say it's an RP. It's also not an RP because no one voted to say it is.

The whole purpose of this game is to create the game by voting on the rules, then playing by the rules. Your turn can be a normal "Hack and Slash" turn or even a "Change X Rule" turn. For this reason, I'm giving it separate threads; One for rules, one for the game.

We can make this into separate games, too, if you want, kind of like SotW on each forum I've posted it on (this forum has vampyres fighting humans, another is about faith vs. science, one is about law vs. chaos).

The core goal of the game is to reach 100 points by continually rolling dice. It was created that way to be boring so that people would WANT to change the rules.

So...anyone want to join? Or debate about what I'm about to put in here?

I'm interested in this, but I'll be brief. I'm drugged up and can't understand it at the moment. So, if you will could explain it to someone as idiotic and brain-dead as I am today! Meep Beep.

Oh and I'd like to see this stuff added to the character sheet.

@ Mentality
@ Physical Statistics
@ And a fancy word for what the character looks like!

Members of the game vote on how the game works or they take their turn playing the game. That's it Razz That's really the only brief description of how it works that makes any sense...

And I'll add those...but first:

1) What would mentality include that personality wouldn't?
2) What do you mean by physical statistics?

1) I've always wanted this on a character sheet, and I knew you would say that thing that you said. I just think it would look different to see if people's characters were sane or insane in one glance.

2) Weight, Height etc.

So, let me get this straight. If every thought it would be a fun idea to play a turn-based combat RP, with a dice system, thats what it would be?

So, yeah...here's what we have so far:

A turn based combat RP with a dice system with a 4 part character sheet (the other two parts can be combined with the personality and description, respectively).

Now...about that annoying little plot thing...

As for storyline, I reckon we should do a post-apocalyptic scenario meself. I haven't RPed in that kind of scenario as of such.

Yeah, forget the Great War idea. More of perhaps,development of some sort of organism far more powerful than us. Or maybe a virus or a computer overpowering the world.

As for the skills, I'd say a yes to that captain. I don't think classes should be created though, more diversity that way.

Agreed on the classes thing...The "organism far more powerful than us" thing has been done too much, too...and the virus thing reminds me of 28 Days Later...or Resident Evil...The computer thing is too 'Matrix-y'...
