Description: Brynn is around 5'5 and has a body of average build but she oftentimes stands with such rigidity that it makes her appear more formidable. She has brilliant green eyes and long dark brown hair that extends halfway down her back, but her most distinctive feature is the large scar down her right cheek. Wearing light, neutral colored armor (that she fashioned herself), Brynn plays the part of the ranger, but she also dons a small sword, should her bow fail her.
Skills: She is very accomplished with a sword but she is unmatched with a bow in her hand. She's speedy but is also a very good climber. Brynn has a way with animals, who are her only companions in the world. She travels with her horse, Gwirion.
Background: Brynn hails from the capital city of Amnon. She was raised as an orphan in a home with other children like her but that never seemed to bother her much. As a child she was always very curious and smiled much more often than she should have. When she turned 18 she was free to leave and travel, and with her dreams ready to burst from being contained for all those years she was determined to see every inch of the world.
But the world was too much for the naive Brynn to handle. She happened upon a large feral beast on the outskirts of the Darkwood and with nothing to defend herself with she was left at the mercy of the beast. The next thing Brynn remembers is being in a small camp of soldiers. The captain of the soldiers, Vaer, had saved her, but not before the beast left her unconscious with a bloodied note on her face to remember him by.
For year Brynn followed the troop being looked after by the handsome Vaer, falling more in love with each passing day. There was a six year age difference, but Brynn could feel that he was beginning to feel the same way. In his spare time, Vaer trained Brynn in stealth, teaching her the importance of patience and good aim. He also gave her a small sword, should she ever need to defend herself again. It was the best year of her life.
Then the soldiers had reached their destination, a large fort outside the capital city of Sylaer. When the Rasenberg force attacked, no one expected it. Vaer told Brynn to leave the fort and hide in small rocky alcove just outside the battle area. She did as she was told but before she reached the alcove, she watched in horror as the only man she ever loved, was slaughtered, saving one of his men. The only things she has of his is the sword he gave her and his horse, Gwirion, that she managed to save from the battle.
Full of vengeance, Brynn stalked the Rasenberg troop and in the cover of night she slipped into the captain's tent and slit his throat, with him begging for mercy. But even still, revenge wasn't enough. Brynn was never the same after that day and kept her distance from all humans. Preferring the company of animals instead, Brynn spent the last five years lurking outside small cities, but never going inside them. She trained herself daily, and cared for only herself and Gwirion, who she had become rather fond of. But when Brynn over heard a conversation about the Amnon call for warriors to put a stop to Brand Jesson's domination, Brynn decided it was time to make an appearance in the human world again.
