(I know this is a bad place to post this but, your last ancient city update Sky, still doesn't require me updating, as Raven would just keep silent anyway as it doesn't really affect him)

Northern Continent-Outside Reactor #8
As Lilith bunkered down on the edge of the rock, she couldn't help but think of Ami as a fool.
Lilith- "Ami!! Come in Ami! Noo! It's a Trap!! Stop what you are doing and retreat!"
All Lilith could hear was static. To Lilith's surprise, she knew Daeva was coaching Ami.
Daeva- "I will handle Ami, you do the best you can."
Shocked at the fact Daeva spoke to Lilith inside her head, Lilith just nodded and awaited for combat. Knowing that someone from Cell 7 most likely saw her jump behind the rock, she had hoped to encounter Levias.
Changing her weapon from her Assault Rifle to her Longbow, Lilith fired an arrange of arrows towards Ami's side. Seeing that someone was passing Ami and coming towards her, she switched her weapon to a dagger and having the Assault Rifle by her side, Lilith was ready to fight. As her enemy dashed to her, Lilith went into a stance and froze forgetting to reload. Lilith began to reload, shocked to see Kiyomi holding a combat knife and being directly in front of her, Lilith froze for a moment not wanting to engage in a fight with her once friend. As Lilith finished reloading, she wondered if Kiyomi would try to attack.
Just as Lilith began to think of a new plan, Kiyomi attacked!
She jumped and swung in one violent rush. Lilith jumped back, as if in a startle. Now having been attacked first, Lilith began to counter attack. While beginning this fight, Lilith couldn't help but want to see what Ami was up to. She was still on this mission with her, and Lilith needed to know if she was alright. Lilith began to speak on the communicator, but she realized she had already tried to speak to her... The Communicator was dead. Now in the middle of the brawl with Kiyomi, Lilith slashed at Kiyomi's ankle. Not realizing she would hit low, Kiyomi was cut.
Lilith- "Darn! It's just a flesh wound!!"
Kiyomi- "What are you after? you won't win this fight!!"
Suddenly with no remorse, Lilith switched to here Assault Rifle and aimed at Kiyomi!
Kiyomi- "How are you this fast?!"
Lilith aimed steadily at Kiyomi, waiting for movement. Kiyomi shot in front of her, trying to attack before she did. Lilith began an arrange of shots. As Kiyomi ran up on Lilith, Kiyomi was hit with force in point-blank range.
Kiyomi fell back hard, as Lilith ducked from new shots being fired towards her way.
After a few moments of cover, Lilith realized the shots were just a distraction. Lilith turned at her opponent once more.
While Lilith was ducking, she left her back turned to Kiyomi... Kiyomi felt it was a perfect time to recover with a cure materia and attack!
Lilith- "Shit..."
Kiyomi switched to her assault Rifle and healed as Lilith was turned, unable to counter attack correctly, a rain of shots rang out towards Lilith.
Shooting Lilith in the left forearm critically, she swayed past the next range of bullets.
Lilith- "You will pay for that!"
As Lilith began to heal her arm, Kiyomi quickly reloaded.
Suddenly a large object rammed into Kiyomi's right leg, and a sharp pain ran up Kiyomi almost paralyzing her for about five seconds or so because of shock.
Kiyomi- "What the?! ...."
A long Combat Knife was dug and jammed into Kiyomi's Leg.
Looking around, she wondered who had hit her. She looked over at Lilith, and she shrugged with no idea of what was going on. They both waited for about a moment or two, as nothing else happened-the two began to shoot and dodge bullets from one another once again.

Iri - Ancient City
The inside of the temple was completely empty, the walls torn completely down and seemingly thrown about in every direction. What remained of the temple, though, had apparently been cleaned frequently, for the white shine had been renewed on the stones that created the floor. The rubble, however, appeared to have little attention paid to it, and the stones were still, albeit barely, stained with blood.
"What... happened here?" Eden asked. Payne simply grunted and continued to follow Sky. His fists balled up, and his knuckles began to turn bright white.
Further into the temple, a mighty door stood, a large lock holding it shut. A note was nailed to it- "Temple knight ill, closed until further notice."
"Temple... knight?" Payne asked. "What kind of bullshit-"
"When we left, we came back to find this place a tourist attraction," Sky interrupted. "A destroyed temple located on the outskirts of a heavily populated city. I'm sure they were very successful."
"But... But this is sacred ground!" Eden cried out.
Sky turned his head back toward the door and sighed. "So was the city before we showed up and tore it from their hands."
Eden began to say something, but stopped. Sky was right, of course. She had heard the story countless times- Humans invaded the village of Iri and claimed it for their own. Despite the elves fighting back, it was hopeless, and the "corruption" began to spread like a plague until it became the city that now stood. Many had not forgiven what had happened, and sprung at any chance to get back at the other race.
Suddenly, Sky drew his blade and swung it at the lock. He simply stared angrily at the blade when it stopped as soon as it hit the lock, only emitting a few sparks. He had expected it to completely obliterate the lock. Perhaps he was overestimating this consumer-grade blade?
He stared down the length of the blade and frowned before sheathing it and turning to Payne.
"Remove the lock," he commanded.
Payne gave him a confused look. "What?"
"I don't care how you do it. Destroy the door, blow a hole through it, whatever. I'm not waiting for some fool knight to get over his 'sickness'."
Payne gave Sky a strange look before pulling a few levers on his gun and stepping up to the door. Within seconds, he had bathed the entirety of the wooden monster before him in flames.
Eden simply stared in horror, eyes wide.
"If you're that concerned," began Sky, who was leaning against a pillar again, one of the only ones that remained standing in the barren area that was the temple's entrance, "that door doesn't belong here."
[ooc] I know that probably doesn't help you Mirage, so sorry. I don't really have much ready for what happens after this step, though, and I want it to not suck. [/ooc]
Mako #11 - Bridge
Cloud danced his way between the groups of soldiers, swiftly killing any that got in his way. They seemed to be less aggressive now, as if the Rebels were finally creating enough disarray that the soldiers no longer knew what to do. He was just about to break through the main group of the soldiers, and geared up to make a blind dash for the interior of the reactor. He realized the futility of remaining where he was and trying to eliminate all of the opposing force when Yawgmoth would clearly enjoy doing the exact same thing. The demon would have no desire to plant a bomb, but certainly would enjoy any chance to kill the masses. For now, that cause helped the group, so without another thought, he shouldered his sword and took his first step forward...
...and quickly drew it again. Something was coming, and very quickly, and he couldn't identify it. He pulled his sword out to block whatever was coming his way, and braced for a large impact when he finally recognized what it was.
A man holding two blood-soaked blades stood before him.
"Y-You're...!"

The warrior shook his blades clean. Cloud had a shocked look on his face; the warrior smirked.
"Yes, I'm back. But now isn't the time for catching up. I'm not sure what your mission is, but clearly your trying to get in. There's another entrance around that tower there, that's where I came out."
He pushed back his hood and removed his cloak.
"Let's roll," Kane announced.

Iri Temple - Inner Sanctum
The group walked inside the chamber that lay beyond the door. It was empty, cold, and dark. Water dripped in from the ceiling, and everything had a damp feeling to it.
"The torches," Sky commanded.
Payne looked about the chamber. It was perfectly circular, and he could barely manage to make out a torch on the wall next to them. He lit it carefully using the pilot flame of his gun. Immediately, the room was much brighter, and he was able to make out the next torch. Sky remained silent as Payne circled the room, the newly lit torches illuminating the aged stone.
"What... is this place?" Payne asked upon lighting the final torch.
"The cloister was destroyed by the time I got here," Sky explained. "They created in its place a new cloister, and for reasons unknown the fayth appears to have accepted it."
Payne frowned. "Then where is the--"
He was cut short by a loud screeching noise. A gate on the far end of the room, unnoticed until that moment, was slowly rising open.
"What the..."
"It comes!" Sky yelled, grabbing his blade and moving to the center of the room. Without warning, an enormous Red Dragon hurled itself from the confines of its chamber, giant claws colliding with Sky's blade. Sparks flew everywhere as Sky struggled to hold the beast at bay. Mustering all of his strength, he managed to push his sword forward and remove the claws from it. With the same motion, he swung at the outstretched arm, hoping to cleave the claw from it. His blade simply scratched against the armor plating of the beast, and it swung its other arm at his head, sending him crashing into the wall beside it.

Cloud heeded Kane's words and followed. He decided not to find Yawgmoth fairly quickly and easily: the demon was a warrior not keen to retreating, and it wasn't likely that he would be surrounded anytime soon. Following Kane would not only allow him to finish the mission while there was a distraction, but it would also allow him to flank the enemy when pulling out.
[ooc] Forced, but the thread was almost dead. Where'd everyone go? [/ooc]
