Name: Absinthe Cassandra Hokkura
Age: Appears 17, but due to experimentation, age is unknown
Race: Unknown (Hybrid of many (Genetic Experiment))
Class: Singer / Kleptomancer (Thief/mimic (learns abilities and takes gil/items))
Weapon: Pair of silver knives
Armor: none
Accessory: Silver chains
Evade: 80%
Attack: 20%
Attack Range: 6

Height: 6'2" due to one race in the experiment mentioned below.
Weight: 100 lbs only, due to a few races in the experiment performed on her by the government.
Appearance: Face as pictured in my current avatar: Brown hair with black tips hanging loosely in the back, Silver/brown eyes (hard to explain the combination. Effects of MAKO poisoning and genetic experimentation), Soft pale skin. Wearing a light jacket (black). Underneath is a pink cami and black jeans. In one pocket of the jeans is a stainless steel microphone. She carries with her always a special elongated stainless steel amp with LifeString technology and a silver chain around her neck. The chain holds various charms depicting hearts, pentacles, and various other symbols. Her pants have silver chains dangling from them. Under her shirt is a pair of silvery wings that do not allow flight. They are paper thin. She has a tattoo of a gunshot with blood droplets around it on the back of her neck. She carries her knives in the sides of her jeans.

Mini-bio: Absinthe has very little recollection of her past. She remembers vaguely some of the experiments performed on her, but not enough to know everything done. When she awoke from these, she found her body greatly altered. A note written in a language she had never seen before, yet still understood, told her that she was in a government lab and was part of the Sacred Genome Project. In essence, she was still herself, with a new body. She felt much lighter, despite her new height. She had not wayed much more before, but the height made her feel the change. She felt akward standing in the little hospital gown, being much larger than before. She felt something on her back but couldn't brush it off, so she attempted to move the muscles on her back. This caused her to realize she had wings. The government has sent many SOLDIERs after her after she escaped the labs. She killed a large portion of the group with their own guns. She ran into a house, where an old woman lived. This woman taught her how to sing and acted as a mother to her, having no children of her own. She took the woman's last name as a sign of respect.
When the woman died, Absinthe continued to live in the house.

Appearance: Black hair with pink tips hanging loosely in the back. Black feathers are weaved into it. Silver/brown eyes (hard to explain the combination. Effects of MAKO poisoning and genetic experimentation), Soft pale skin. Wearing a black dress that flows and ripples behind her. She carries a stainless steel microphone. She also carries with her always a special elongated stainless steel amp with LifeString technology and a silver chain around her neck. The chain holds various charms depicting various temple symbols. The top of her dress has various metallic objects on it. Under her dress is a pair of silvery wings that allow at least an hour of flight. She has a tattoo of a gunshot with blood droplets around it on the back of her neck. She carries her knives in the sides of her dress. She has a pink scar on her left cheek from when one of the SOLDIERs pretended to be her boyfriend. His bullet grazed her cheek as he died. Her incisers are elongated due to the race's blood that was infused with her own. A necklace of barbed wire is around her neck. Matching bracelets are on her small wrists. She has a constant shadow that draws all the heat out of the room surrounding her. The room is always 5 degrees Celsius colder as well as 15 shades darker when she is around. Her presence turns all candle flames blue while she is within 15 feet.

Additional info: Attacked by a SOLDIER on her way to Mayfield city. Mei saved her life, but Abbey still lost her sight from the shrapnel released from the spiked grenade. She is now permanently blind...She uses sounds and sightjacking (a form of telepathy in which a person may see through the eyes of another).

Cryogenics - Abbey freezes herself, shatters the ice, and sends it into all enemies.

BIO UPDATES:

This explains why Abbey is blind:
*There is a bright flash, surprising Abbey and the rest, preventing them from talking. A SOLDIER steps in quickly while they are confused and starts to shoot. He looks very young. Mei quickly dispatches of the young SOLDIER with her masamune. She then notices a slight beeping sound. She finds a small item in his pocket with digital numbers on it. It appears to be surrounded by lights and spikes, making it hard to hold. Mei instantly recognizes what it is from her programming course (who said it was all computers?) She throws it in the air. She then looks at Abbey and notices a pool of blood next to her. Abbey looks up right as the grenade explodes. Shrapnel flies into her eyes, tearing them up and making her permanently blind. Mei's body prevented most of the shrapnel from hitting her, however. Mei collapses on the ground in pain (having lost all but one hit point). She looks to see if the other three are all right before she passes out.*

And this is the post from FFHaven that described Absinthe's last moments:
Absinthe leads Mei to the small shrine. She wishes to feed the Eurobito. They require a lot of food to survive. Absinthe brings a sacrifice (a local villager) to the center of the temple. Mei stands in the doorway preventing anything from leaving.

Villager: "Am I going to die?"
Absinthe: "No"
Villager: "But I can't do anything to stop them"
The Eurobito surround the villager
Mei: "It's not your time. They are staying away. Follow me."
The man is led into another room farther down.
Absinthe: "I don't like to be the executioner"
Villager: "Then don't! I don't want to die!"
Absinthe: "Shut up! It's not your time to die."
Villager: "Then why are you taking me here?"
Absinthe: "The instinct of my genetics."
Mei: "Both of you, shut up! The ritual has to go on."
Villager: "Ritual?"
Mei: "I said shut up!"
Villager: "Sor---"
She is interrupted by a slap in the face from Mei. Blood pours out slowly from claw marks.
Mei: "It's a form of passive sacrifice. My goddess, the executioner, has volunteered for the progress of my future. The blood in her veins is from the government. This temple has the power to purify by removing the soul. I will tell you no more."
Girl: "But, ---"
Mei: "So you want to die? You will not die if you just shut up!"

They reach a point deep under the temple. The air is so thick they cannot breathe. Mei brought oxygen for all but Absinthe, who is having no problems.

Absinthe: "Power of Sakhmet and Amon-Ra! Fill me with your power! I bring to you innocence and a vessel of life! Take my soul and fill the girl! Then take the pure soul and fill her!"

Amon-Ra: "The body of the summoner."
Sakhmet: "The pure soul."
Both: "Spirits, send the souls! The empty shell waits!"

A lavender mist escapes through Absinthe's pores. The village girl emits a red mist. The combine in the black mist surrounding Mei. They mix to form a fearsome blood red. The mist flows through Mei's veins and through her lungs. The mist fades as it is absorbed into her. She sees Absinthe at the point of death on the floor. Absinthe whispers something. The spirits of the aeons exit her body and into the body of Mei. Mei's eyes glow lavender. The village girl is being escorted out by a figure in a black robe. They exit through a silver tear in the fabric of life.

(Mei now has all the abilities of Absinthe and more)

Absinthe dies. Her last words to Mei: "Take over for me, okay?"
Mei: "You're not supposed to die!"
Absinthe: "Would you still do it if I told you I have to?"
The candle of life is snuffed by a pair of ancient words.

Before her death, she was attacked by a SOLDIER on her way to Mayfield city. Mei saved her life, but Abbey still lost her sight from the shrapnel released from the spiked grenade. She is now permanently blind...She uses sounds and sightjacking (a form of telepathy in which a person may see through the eyes of another).

She sacrificed her life so that the evil of SHINRA would end with her, but Mei's death brought about her resurrection. Mei died in a battle with Yuri Hyuga inside her soul. Her body hit the ground. Absinthe's soul was released from Mei's body and reformed through the will of Amon-Ra and Sekhmet, the same ones who "killed" her. She remained at the bottom of the cliff in the chocobo ranch as a hermit until present day. The top half of her head is wrapped with cloth, now, including her eyes, which don't serve a purpose anyway. She keeps her ears uncovered. Her "new" clothing is from an unknown fabric given to her upon recreation. It does not tear or cut easily, but it does not provide protection (It's not armor :'(). She no longer has any of her former possessions. She did, however find a stick near where she was reformed. She has been using it since then to survive.

Preferred Weapon: Whatever she can use to guide herself, generally long, lightweight weapons.
Preferred Armor: Anything lightweight.
